Biography
Sajjad Shaghalani was a 21-year-old athlete and boxer who had completed his mandatory military service only twenty days before his death. He was killed on January 8, 2026, in Alvand after being shot in the forehead with live ammunition by security forces. Following his death, his body was buried in his hometown under heavy security pressure.
